An Update on Collecting at Hallelujah Junction Petersen Mountain, Washoe County, Nevada by Paul Geffner
The September/October 2007 issue of Rocks & Minerals carried an article on recent, spectacular collecting at Foster Hallman's Krystal Tips claim on Petersen Mountain (better known as Hallelujah Junction), Washoe County, Nevada (Geffner, Frazier, and Frazier 2007). More recently, on 12 May 2009, a remarkable quartz scepter was unearthed on the claim.
Paul Geffner has been collecting minerals for the past forty-seven years. His most recent article for Rocks & Minerals was on the Jacksons Crossroads amethyst mine in Wilkes County, Georgia, and appeared in the November/ December 2008 issue.
