The theme of the 2009 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show is Mineral Oddities, and it is not difficult to make a list of them. It is, in fact, a bigger problem to draw a line between the plethora of mineralogical curiosities that are certainly out of the norm but have not risen to the level of real “oddities,” and the true oddities themselves.
